There are WAAAAAAY too many trades in this mock draft.

Things are likely quiet for Gorton trade wise for now, due in part to still deciding whether or not to buyout Shatty's &/or Smith's contracts, should no team bite for their willingness to pick up 50% of their remaining money in any trade.

Hopefully, either a trade or buyout of one or both would only be for purposes to aid in part to extend Kreider, and possibly sign Panarin if not Florida bound. That, as opposed to dealing Kreider in some type of trade to acquire Barrie, after still needing to first extend Trouba for likely 7 years at $7.5M to $8.5M, in comparison to the top 10 to 15 paid d'men in the league.

If they have any worry with Fox, after having not opted to qualify Claesson, it's not wise to add $5.5M in Barrie for his offensive game, with Trouba on board needing to be first extended. Instead, they should target a lower cost potential 2019 UFA in McQuaid for depth, plus his leadership, grit, team first dedication, and to be paired once again with Skjei for Skjei's benefit as was the case last season.
